Now Offering a Shadowing Opportunity
The Eddy Show
The Eddy Show is a 3-hour immersive night of haircutting. ‘Shadow’ as I cut and consult with one or two real, paying clients. This isn’t a staged class with a model—you’re watching genuine appointments where I guide my clients through their unique hair wishes and needs.
This is an offering specifically targeting new and studying barbers, or hair stylists, even casual haircutters interested in observing, learning and sharing. You’ll get to see a consultation, the cutting process, and be able to ask questions along the way.
Starting in Stan’s Barbershop in New Hampshire in 2006, I knew I loved to sit awkwardly in the corner of barbershops - just listening, and staring. Anywhere I went, I would try to stop and see what was going on in the shops.
The only risky thing about starting Barber School, was I didn’t know if I would actually like cutting hair! I only knew I loved to watch people cut hair, at first. And when you study something like haircutting, its hard to just watch it - cause you have to do it, too.
Hair Education and hair content on social media, are big things. There is honestly fantastic education available on the internet, and it is easy to find on social media apps, or you can see some of the best hair educators live at a hair convention.
However, those are not haircut appointments in a real shop.
Once a month, we can walk through a couple haircuts, with real customers.
If this is something you would be interested in, reservations are now available.
